Beer data from the cloud

From the “promising beer tech” department – I got several emails from a L.A. based tech start-up that is working to create an easy way for people to share, view, and create structured data. As a programmer, I like this kind of thing. Right now it is step one – you can see the data below, a beer table of course, that has a bunch of beers and information about them. The data is only as good as who is working on it – but there seems to be a good amount of info here. I look at this as a progression – a way to build beer applications in the future – if there was an api (which I think they are planning) you could pull this info into a mobile app or a site. Not a bad way to do it either – a central place to have a data easily available to the masses. Play around with it – see what you think – if you have any suggestions – I will pass them on to the company. And fill in data too – I know I have a few beers to add.

This seems pretty cool, and its neat to see it working – lots of potential too!
