Good article – I did keep thinking – hey we can all just drink some good local beer. Of course the ingredients for beer are not usually all local, but you don’t always have to ship it much – especially in Northern California.

    mmm…love me some B.R. Cohn. When I first learned that Doobie Brothers management had a hand in this product I dusted off my old 33′s and got to work. Didn’t take long to realize they a) know how to name a band b) produce a tasty product and c) 70′s stoner rock needs to make a comback big time!

    This is a sweet article. I grew up in Wisconsin originally, and it reminds me of the Point Special, from Stevens Point, WI that my old man used to drink growing up as a kid. Freshly brewed in the nasty waters of the Wisconsin River haha. Thank God I made the leap to San Francisco.
