Two articles about canning beer and the environment. The treehugger article is not really targeted at the craft beer can renaissance that is still going on, and so I include the other article, but there are still some interesting points.
It is a good idea, I think, to remind ourselves to enjoy good local beer from a keg (try a growler!) that didn’t have to travel far and doesn’t use a bottle or a can. Of course where I live, there is more good local craft beer then I can drink…doesn’t stop me from trying.
