Pacific Standard – Brooklyn, NY

By Joe Ruvel · January 18th, 2008 · 4 Comments

I just read about a bar, Pacific Standard, that sounds really cool and unlucky me it is back in Brooklyn, NY – rather far away from San Francisco. I will have to check it out next time I visit good old New York. If any of the many new yorkers I know, or ones that I don’t, happen to go please email me (joe at beeratjoes dot com) or comment here with your take on this bar.

Not only is their tap list look great but they also have a Frequent Drinker Card and an amazing membership guide with such term and condition gems for their members as “Ale-iness. You shall be full of the finest yeasts. The yeasts are alive, and know what they’re doing. If you’re very quiet, you can hear their mellifluous song. Let yourself be guided by it.” The list of prizes are also great. And of course they have a blog.
