Update: Went to CBS last night, but could only stay for like 15 min. Still very happy I went. Tried two beers on tap – the London Tavern Mild – lots of flavor for a mild with a real great roast flavor andthe West Coast IPA – oh my – I am still thinking about it now – what a great beer. For me I would say this is a perfect sitting outside on a hot day kind of beer. And with 7.8 % after a few the day will start to slip away.  Steve Altimari, the brewer, was there meeting and greeting. Damn does that man know how to craft beer. Check back soon for a post on the bottles.

From the City Beer Store newsletter:

Wednesday night, August 5thValley Brewing Company Launch We are pleased to introduce Valley Brewing Company bottles into the San Francisco marketplace.  Bottles are available to take home with you,  and while you’re shopping we’ll be pouring a flight of the Uber Hoppy, Mild, and IPA off draft.  5:30pm

New bottles on the shelf

Valley Brewing Uber Hoppy Imperial IPA

Valley Brewing West Coast IPA

Valley Brewing London Tavern Mild

AleSmith Summer Yulesmith

AleSmith Speedway Stout (behind the counter)

Very exciting! Valley Brewing Company is amazing and by far one of my favorite places making beer. Their beer is just in a class on its own and to get it in bottle  – well it is a lucky thing for all of us.

Another event for Saturday:

Speakeasy is holding their 12th anniversary party this Saturday from 2 – 6. It is always a great time with amazing beer (if they have the rye go for it – also if there is a tap just sitting around – ask them what is in it – they like to have a non advertised keg laying around) and awesome metal or prog rock bands playing.  Check here for details.
