After we both (separately) decided that Firestone Walker’s Reserve Porter would be great as an ice cream float, I managed to dig out some forgotten vanilla ice cream from the freezer, scrape off the top layer of freezer burn (eww) and try it out.
It was delicious! It had a dominant coffee flavor originally, but with the ice cream, the chocolate really popped. Joe went so far as to say it tasted like chocolate syrup. Definitely a must-try.
